OTTO International is a professional trading company based in Hong Kong. It manages and coordinates buying activities for customers in Europe, Asia, Australia, South America, Canada and the US. It was established in 1967 as the sourcing organization for the Otto Group, the world's largest mail-order catalogue business, based in Hamburg, Germany and with companies in Europe, the US and Asia. The Otto Group generates turnover of 15 billion EUR (2006/07) with a staff of over 53,000 people. As well as retail sales, the Group also has extensive interests in financial services and other services.
OI is headquartered in Hong Kong, from where all sourcing and corporate activities are coordinated. Sales are handled from Germany. The company has 23 offices and 14 agencies around the world.
